The light is going. The kettle is somewhere near the stove. Boots wait by the tent door, and the ground has begun making its case for a little insulation.

The NEMO Tensor All-Season is the answer to that last question, in the unromantic and useful sense: an insulated inflatable pad that disappears into the pack, then becomes the night’s small piece of floor. The Regular Mummy keeps its manners in a narrow shelter. If you sleep diagonally, look at the wider versions.

NEMO is based in Dover, New Hampshire. A sensible place to begin when the overnight has reached the part where sleep is no longer theoretical.

The inventory, before the weather changes

On NEMO’s Regular Mummy table: minimum weight 14.1 oz / 400 g, packed weight 1 lb 1 oz / 480 g, packed size about 10 × 4 inches. R-value 5.4. 3.5 inches thick. Mummy shape (Amazon title lists about 72" × 20"). Fabrics: 20D top / 40D bottom nylon (bluesign® approved). Dual suspended Thermal Mirror™ metallized film. Spaceframe™ baffles for a stable surface instead of a waterbed. Laylow™ micro-adjustable valve. In the bag: stuff sack, Vortex™ pump sack, Velcro strap, setup instructions.

This is a researched product overview, not a hands-on review. NEMO describes the pad as quiet and insulated; we have not independently tested those claims. Choose the Regular Mummy when the scale leans toward low weight; compare the wider sizes when a little more sleeping room matters.

If the pad is headed out with an overnight pack, see our Hyperlite Unbound note — separate story, separate click.
