United in Nature is the parent home for outdoors and nature media projects — beginning with Outdoor Collective.
We care about time outside that feels possible: a Saturday that doesn’t require a research department, a day trip with a real map and a sensible bag, a weekend when you know what’s open before you burn the gas. That tone lives most clearly in Outdoor Collective, our Northeast publication.
United in Nature exists so those efforts have a clear roof. Outdoor Collective is an entity under United in Nature; its weekend guides and gear notes live in the Outdoor Collective section of this site. The parent voice is quieter on purpose — a wayfinding page for the family of projects, not a second feed competing with the first.
